7225X 1-2 Axes UV Torque Amplifiers
The 7225X series is a temperature compensated, low-drift solution for applications requiring a low torque ripple. A 4kHz bandwidth current loop ensures high performance torque control. A 2-axis version is available for applications where panel space efficiency is critical.
The amplifier accepts controller commutated current commands in the standard UV format. The 7225X family operates from a DC supply without the requirement for an isolation transformer. Carrier cancellation PWM modulation is employed for zero crossover distortion.
7xx5AC Offline UV Torque Amplifiers
For low torque ripple and smooth quiet operation, sinusoidal commutation is the technology of choice. The 7xx5 series is a compact, offline solution for sinusoidal torque control of brushless servomotors. Designed to interface to controllers, which generate a commutated current command, the 7xx5 accepts +/-10V commands for the U and V motor windings and internally synthesizes the W winding current.
A 3 kHz bandwidth current loop ensures high performance torque control. Carrier cancellation modulation is employed for zero crossover distortion. For noise sensitive environments, an optional internal edge filter is available to minimize PWM switching noise.
