HD - Harmonic Drive Actuators

Harmonic Drive Actuators offer the designer a complete unit consisting of a zero backlash harmonic drive gearhead capable of less than 1 arc minute positional accuracy and +/- 5 arc seconds of repeatability packaged with a motor and encoder. Several harmonic drive actuators are available including shaft/flange output, hollow shaft, and high vacuum models. All models offer precision motion control and high torque in compact design. Ratios start at 50:1.

PSA Miniature Precision Servo Actuator:
PSA actuators are complete, compact (30mm diameter) actuators featuring a harmonic drive gearhead mounted to a motor and encoder. They are available in three sizes with ratios starting at 50:1 and maximum output torques up to 200 lb-in, (22.6 Nm).            PSF Flange Output Precision Actuator:
Flange output actuators featuring a harmonic drive PSF gearhead mounted to a motor and encoder. Available in 3 sizes with ratios starting at 50:1 and output torques up to 1004 in lb.            PSS Shaft Output Precision Actuator:
Shaft output actuators featuring a harmonic drive PSS gearhead mounted to a motor and encoder. They are available in 3 sizes with ratios starting at 50:1 and output torques up to 1004 in lb.

HKM Powerhub Hollow Shaft Servo Actuator:
Hollow shaft servo actuators with a large center through holes (up to 27 mm) allowing vacuum lines or wires to run through the center of the unit to external devices. The Powerhub is available in 2 sizes and designed with precision output bearings allowing it to handle output torques up to 1320 in lb.             HHA Chamberlink High Vacuum feedthrough actuator:
The Chamberlink is a combination feedthrough and harmonic drive servo actuator. It is available in 2 sizes and capable of operating at vacuum levels down to 10-8 Torr. Ratios are available from 80:1 with maximum output torques up to 75 lb-in (8.4 Nm)
